This Battle field reminds of my childhood cycle visits where we would wander about the field looking for relics--many can be found in the local museums.Following the battle large grave pits were used to bury the dead rebels here so it is really a battle cemetery. As kids we were well acquainted with our local history via school. the museum etc... I particularly remember the models in the Blake Museum one of which is now found within Westonzoyland church very old models.
